What a double storey house means in Gadap
A double storey in Gadap is decided in the first slab: the stair, the toilet drops, and the weight of the upper floor. If the house is already standing, the first job is to look at that slab.

Labor rate
Labor for two floors includes the stair. A hole with no stair is not a complete structure. A labor rate on grey structure is the mason, the carpenter, the steel fixer, and the helpers. You supply cement, steel, brick, sand, and crush. The stair opening and the toilet drops still have to be in the drawing, or the labor builds a frame the finish cannot use.
With material
With material, the upper floor is in the steel of the first slab, or it is refused. It is not implied. With material, those same items are in our contract. Steel weight and slab thickness are why two grey-structure quotes on the same Gadap plot do not match. We name them before anyone orders.
What moves the figure
The grey-structure figure in Gadap moves with the hole we dig, the span of the lanter, whether another floor sits on it, and how much brickwork is inside the stop line.

If the house is already standing and you want a floor added, that is a look at the existing structure, not a paint job. Grey structure either includes the upper floor now or it says the slab cannot take it.

Deliveries for a Gadap house follow the road you have, including the weeks it is dug up for someone else’s connection.

Is brickwork part of grey structure in Gadap?
Yes, up to the line in the scope. Finish — plaster, tile, joinery — is a separate decision, written as such.
Is grey structure the same as a finished house?
No. The scope says where one ends.
Will you photograph the grey structure?
Yes. Each stage is photographed and sent. The note includes what is wrong, not only what is done.
