Malir is inland Karachi: orchards, older houses, and newer housing on the same map. Maymarian plans shade first. A veranda that works in the afternoon is the point of the house.
Getting there
Malir is a longer drive from Gulshan-e-Maymar than Scheme 33. We take the work when the job is large enough to justify the regular site presence.
The ground
Soil and standing water are not the same as a Maymar lane. Footings are confirmed on the plot. Trees that are already doing the cooling are kept if the plan can hold them.
Plots people bring
Bungalow plots and house plots. Spreading the building across an orchard yard makes an expensive roof. We group the rooms.
