A 5 marla house is the family bungalow people describe when they are not thinking in square yards. In Gulshan-e-Maymar we still measure the plot. A marla count on a message is not a dimension we will build to.
Five marla is tight enough that the veranda, the car, and the kitchen light have to be chosen on purpose. Grey structure for this house is a modest plan, not a villa with the second floor deleted.
Grey structure in Gulshan-e-Maymar is often split from finishing so a family can pause. The pause only works if the slab levels, the toilet drops, and the future stair are already in the concrete. We do not leave those decisions for a second contractor to discover.
