Staged payments, site photos and "the name of trust"

Trust on a building site is mostly paperwork and photographs. A written scope. A labor rate or a with-material contract that says what is included. Payments that follow completed stages, not the calendar.

We photograph the steel before the pour, the brickwork before plaster, the pipes before they disappear into the floor. If a detail is wrong, we show it before we show progress. That is the only kind of progress report worth reading.
